This has been a wake-up call for the residents of the apartment neighborhood. Most of them were relaxing after work, or watching TV when they heard the shots fired. It was a shock to them and prompted some consideration about personal gun ownership.
“It really makes me think twice about being safe and stuff. I think I might have to go out and buy a gun now,” one neighbor said.

The couple was removing groceries from their car when it happened at Twin Oaks apartment complex in Mobile, Alabama. Little did the robber know the young man was carrying his own self-defense firearm. But how could he have known because the would be victim shot him in this unique fashion.
