Dry Fire Safety Rules Before the Drills


It doesn’t matter whether you’re training with your firearm loaded or not, the 4 firearm safety rules apply as follows:

  1. Treat every firearm as if it’s loaded, even if you know it isn’t.
  2. Never point the muzzle in a direction toward something you’re not willing to destroy.
  3. Keep your finger off the trigger until it’s properly aimed at the target.
  4. Always know where your target is and what is beyond your target.
